NDTC

Originally founded in 1956 Nottingham Dog Training Club is one of the oldest Kennel Club registered training clubs in the UK.

Operating from our own premises N.D.T.C has an excellent reputation for caring and quality dog and handler training, covering all aspects from puppy training, basic pet obedience and more formal obedience.

As a non-profit making organisation all of our instructors once started like you as pet owners and have undertaken over many years both in house and external training to help handlers achieve their goals through reward based training.

We understand that for some people this will be the first time they have attended a dog training class and it may seem stressful, we therefore keep our class numbers to a manageable level thus ensuring that dogs and handlers are given a high level of attention and a relaxed learning atmosphere.

We run beginners obedience and puppy classes, with the beginners obedience dealing with training for 'real life' ie walking on a loose lead and recalls plus other basic pet problems.

Puppy class runs the Kennel Club Good Citizens puppy foundation and also deals with teaching you and your puppy how to interact with other dogs, people and different situations, whilst also teaching you how to get your puppy to walk on a loose lead and to come back to you when called.

*Please note we cannot take reactive or aggressive dogs in our classes.
